Description

In this meta-textual first-person psychological horror, you play as someone who is bored, broke, and looking for a distraction. When you stumble upon an unlabeled, mysterious pendrive, curiosity gets the better of you. You plug it in to find a collection of strange, unnamed games—no installation required, just click and play.

However, the “games” on the drive are more than just code. As you begin to explore their digital depths, the boundaries between the software and your reality begin to dissolve. Your environment starts to mirror the glitches and horrors of the files you’re running. Featuring a heavy focus on environmental interaction and exploration, Junkyard File challenges you to “try them all” while you still can. But as the lights flicker and your surroundings warp, you have to wonder: is this a virus, a ghost, or something far more malevolent that you’ve invited into your home?
