1. Spread = Difference between Bid & Ask price
• Bid: What buyers are willing to pay
• Ask: What sellers want

2. Brokers earn from spreads
It’s their main profit (unless commission-based)

3. Why does spread matter?
High spread = bigger cost = harder to profit
Especially for scalpers

4. Avoid trading pairs with huge spreads
Example: Exotic pairs or during news

5. Best time to trade for low spreads?
• London + New York overlap (high liquidity)
• Avoid late-night/low volume sessions

6. Check your broker’s spread policy
Some brokers widen spreads under manipulation or news.
